Friday 4th April 2014
Doors open at 7.30pm for 8pm Start
R.D. Wyness and Robbie Flanagan return to give us an evening of excellent music. Come along and support these guys who are travelling out from Aberdeen just to entertain you!
Some technical issues meant that I wasn’t able to post on here after our July night, so here it is now, along with August.
July was a brilliant night of music, as usual. Unfortunately Andy Murray was winning his Wimbledon Semi-Final on the same evening, so our audience was small, but very appreciative. Kate, Graham, RD Wyness and Mary May entertained our intimate crowd.
August – Iain MacDonald and Mark Ayling planned their gig night together after meeting at the very first Kelpie night back in February. They brought a special guest with them, Ciaran Bolland… and we were impressed! So impressed that we’ve invited him back next month… watch this space 🙂
Last minute preparations for our July Music At The Kelpie session on Friday 5th.
Graham and Kate are kicking off, followed by RD Wyness from Aberdeen – self-penned Blues, Folk, Country.
Finishing off with Mary May, Jazz Singer from Fraserburgh.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
We’re getting sorted for our next Kelpie session on Friday 7th June. We have three young, local, talented singer/song-writers.

Friday 5th April saw another great night of music at The Kelpie. Such a stimulating assortment of performers 🙂 We are pleased to be able to offer young local musicians a stage to showcase their talent and build their confidence. Also, we are able to offer more established musicians a chance to bring their music to a new audience.
Next month, we are having a break from the norm, and are thrilled to be able to present Steve Crawford and Spider Mackenzie. Please get in touch if you would like a ticket.
